Dear Farm Journal,
This morning I have the honor and pleasure of accompanying a group of children through the wonders of nature in Forest Kindergarten at KVR. I look forward to their bright smiles and the sparks of curiosity in their wide honest eyes. Observing the infinite intricacies of a frost pattern, breaking through a thin layer of ice with a little boot, sharing a silly laugh with a friend, the high pitched peeps of thrill after a brisk push on a rope swing, drinking warm tea on a chilly day, and the waves of heartfelt belly laughter when kids say the darnedest things; these are only a few moments of transparent cheer we experience when we play in the forest at any age.
