People Fest is coming to a close as tired campers lazily collect their belongings. We break down our campsite, gather all of our trays and utensils from the hospitality tent, and crack one more beer just for good measure. My hazy mind is filled with sweet new memories of new friends as well as the old ones. Hundreds of names, faces, voices, lyrics, flavors, melodies, and diverse energies swirl through the labyrinths across my consciousness. My cup has truly been filled many times over this weekend, and Sunday is a much needed day of rest. The farm will have to wait one more day for me to decompress. I believe a beautiful time was had by all, and I am so glad these two busy farmers still know how to play as hard as we work. People Fest 2019, you did us right! Time for an afternoon nap!
