Dear Farm Journal,
Rufus and I ease back into farm life today with a lovely visit from our friends at The Driftless Cafe. I feel so fortunate to be within a food community that so genuinely values their farmers. This stellar staff wants to see where their ingredients come from, appreciate the hard work that goes into them, and understand the story of the people and places they work with. They intend to share these narratives with the folks who experience our produce through their creative masterpieces. These connections matter. These are the days that weave us together and strengthen the fabric of our communities.
