Dear Farm Journal,
Working alongside Georgia and Elaina has me switching head space back to my early undergrad days. I marvel at how differing the awaiting world must seem to them now, compared to the post grad economy I cringed at in the early 2000s. I sympathize with all the young people pressed to make decisions about their future education and career paths in such outlandish circumstances. The well trodden ways forward have been cut off or entangled in such a way that they no longer hold much appeal for the next wave of graduates. I really have no idea how to advise them, but I can see how farming may not seem like a bad back up plan at least.
