Dear Farm Journal,
One of the interns is arriving tomorrow, so I spend the day deep cleaning and arranging the cabin for guests. I stock the cupboards with dishes, make up the beds, dust the surfaces, and mop the floors until the space starts to shine. This little cabin has housed family, friends, farm workers, hunters, and a handful of folks just passing through. It’s been a place of transition, retreat, and healing for those who have shuffled through her threshold, and my hope is that many more will be moved by the magic of unplugging in this simple country structure.
