Dear Farm Journal,
Rufus and I feel fortunate to be bringing our first interns to Keewaydin this weekend, so we’ve been busy trying to get the cabin ready for their on-farm housing. The cabin is primitive, off the grid, and accoutered with it’s very own outdoor “shitter”, but it cleans up pretty nicely. For two young college gals looking for a countryside experience, I think it will work out just fine. Rufus mowed, weed wacked, and repaired the doorway and front porch this afternoon while I worked on general clean up. There’s nothing like a firm deadline to keep you working until the sun goes down, but we’re excited to offer this space and welcome some more young folks to our team.
~Joy
