Before we could begin work on the sauna project, we had to repair a couple of extension cords to run the saws. I won’t name names, but someone in this family has a tendency to drive over extension cords with the lawn mower.  Rufus gave me a quick lesson in wiring on new ends and we were back in business. We cut our rough sawn lumber to the dimensions for framing in the front wall, a door, and a window. I’m looking forward to having at least one wall of shelter because working in the open wind was no easy undertaking. The cold sapped the fine motor skills from my fingers as the hours passed and by the end of the day I huddled fingers to palms inside my gloves for warmth. We’re almost one wall closer to the ultimate warm up.
