Dear Farm Journal,

I’m not sure what to do with myself here. I have had the occasion to dress up for three days in a row. Thursday we went to Parent’s Night for volleyball. Friday we went out for dinner at Driftless Cafe, and today we have Rufus’s cousin’s wedding. Three days, three dresses, three pairs of heels, zero ponytails. Wow, I haven’t done that in awhile. Well, technically it would have been People Fest, minus the shoe element. Rufus and I actually really like to get all dressed up for special occasions. It is a refreshing change from our generally “farmicized” wardrobe. We clean up nicely and show that we still got it on the dance floor.
