Papa Rich, Rufus, and I spend a brisk morning among the maples making notes and repairs. In preparation for our first Driftless Curiosity workshop, we mark a spot to build a campfire and a circle of bale and plank benches. My mind generates an open-ended to-do list and I write down the details these guys overlook. We work together to take down and move one of the main lines in hopes to gain a better gravitational flow. Our survey reveals much work to be done, but it will have to wait for a bit warmer day.
