Dear Farm Journal,

Harry Truman said, “It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit”. In preparation for stepping into a supervisory role, I’ve perused through some farm manuals and managerial reading material, but I’ll have to learn to cultivate my own style throughout the season. Today I witnessed the artistry of weaving great big open minds together. Sandi has experience working on a CSA farm, and I’m intrigued by all the innovative methods she’s willing to share throughout the day. I’m acutely aware of the exquisite tapestry possible when the weaver has a rainbow of warps and wefts, a basket of wool and silk, a kaleidoscope of thread. We braid the best of both brains together to meet each task, and as twilight rounds the bend, the farmstead lays lovely on the loom.
