Dear Farm Journal,
One of the captivating charms of small family farms sunk into my soul today. I was joined by my father and brother, who helped me plant seeds and work in the greenhouses. We shared stories, laughed heartily, and got our hands dirty working toward a universal goal. There was a sense of ease and unity which builds from working commonality. I found myself wondering how my own life may have been shaped differently if my brother and I had been brought up in the farming lifestyle as my father was. I imagine our identity, bonds, and values would have all been woven a little tighter together.
