Dear Farm Journal,
Today we got totally skunked. We did not catch a single fish. Also, being out on Lake Michigan (The Michigami) in November can be a little nerve rattling. Temperatures are low, winds are high, and the waves are scary. The reason for our failure is that we couldn’t get to the pockets where the small mouth were hanging out. The wind and water just wouldn’t allow it. We came in from the cool, clean water, dejected, and went to a local supper club. I drank a double whiskey as I ate a meal that someone else caught.
