Dear Farm Journal,
Oh Man! Today was a monumental day at Keewaydin. For years, we have struggled with ill working tractors. After countless hours of mechanical work, multiple daily battery jumps, I don’t even want to know how much spent in parts, busted tires, worn out gears, rebuilding of engines, and, lest we forget, some of the world’s most heinous streaks of cussing a pair of ears has ever heard… we may, fingers crossed, now have a reliable tractor. When I say we, I mean, it’s Papa Rich’s tractor, but it’s on our farm. Hell YES! This could be a game changer. What if we didn’t have to spend half the day trying to get a tractor started? Swearing may dwindle to a passing “goddamnit” under one’s breath. We wouldn’t know what to do with ourselves. We gathered around the awe inspiring machine as Papa Rich asked, “Well, what do you think of my new tractor?”, barely containing a peacock-like strut. We love it.
