Dear Farm Journal,
In new soil, I study seedlings before they meet their nutrient contenders. In compartmentalized pods and beds of clean compost, these seeds germinate with vigor. They ease through osmosis, free of competition from budding rivals. They pop up joyfully and enjoy the ephemerial shielding of ecological reality…a fetching phase to witness.
