Dear Farm Journal,
Just as our overwintered garlic supply shriveled down to a few dehydrated cloves, the new green garlic is shooting up. This year, we are trying some early garlic in the greenhouse, and I’m already sniffing the shoots in anticipation. Garlic is a felicitous companion to just about every other vegetable on the farm, if you ask me, and I’m glad there won’t be much of a gap in our supply.
