Dear Farm Journal,
The paperwork was flying in the Keewaydin office this morning as Rufus shuffled through sign ups and triple checked that we had the correct count for our first spring CSA pack out. My desk was stacked with new signage on Covid-19 bio security, visitor protocol, hand washing, and proper glove use. We take prudent measures to make sure everyone is on the same page. It’s evident we’re both burning up our brains like test takers searching for answers on the ceiling. Rufus looks over at me and says, “I know I’m forgetting something? What am I forgetting?” He recently transitioned his CSA system of over a decade onto a new platform called Farmingo, and subsequently feels like he’s free falling into this season. Once you let go of the old, you just have to hover over the chasm of the unknown until you land in the new.
