Dear Farm Journal,

Today was the last day of Georgia and Elaina’s month long internship with us and we’ve been honored to host these two fantastic young ladies. As we go about our work, I’m both proud of what we have accomplished together and sad to see them go. Before they leave, they give us thank you letters and a painting that Elaina did while she was down in the cabin. Everyone gets a little teary eyed and we say, “see you again” instead of “good bye”, knowing that, with any luck, they’ll be back to visit someday. They are both most certainly welcome. And yes, I cried like a baby when I read those sweet and thoughtfully written letters.
