Once the wind died down, Rufus proclaimed it was too calm not to build garden beds. So, he pulled his stash of cardboard sheets from the back of the van, laid them flat onto the grass, and promptly covered them with compost before the wind could pick up and blow them down to Viola. Field D is now complete. We’ve decided to leave the space with the cement pad in the middle as a place to set a table for on-farm dinners once we complete the certified kitchen. How’s that for farm-to-table?
