It’s spring harvest time! Radishes, ramps, mizuna, arugula, spinach, and salad mix. We hustle from plant to plant, collecting our bounty amidst seemingly ironic snowflakes. At sundown we scramble to bring transplants into heated areas and cover the remaining beds of greens for the overnight lows. After a hot shower, I practically melt into the couch. Oh yeah, I remember this. This is what it’s like; spring training. These bodies are not quite in “harvest shape” yet. We’ll all sleep hard tonight.
