Today was our second Driftless Curiosity workshop on maple syrup production, and we tripled our attendance in one week! Mother Nature graced us with another perfect day of sapping weather, and it brought me so much happiness to hear people talking about how much they enjoy spending time out on the land, to hear them asking questions to quench their curiosity, and to hear the laughter in response to our stories. These precious sounds washed away the worry that I’d nearly burned the first run of sap the night before. We all have room to learn.
