Dear Farm Journal,
This afternoon, my brother and I harvested asparagus and talked about the fractured systems of the world we live in. The ways in which our society handles food, farming, criminal justice, education, water, and economics is deteriorating our social well being. We feel the rise of civil unrest and a long dormant energy sparking synergy throughout communities coming together for change. We affirm our inner initiatives to join the transformation, to seek out partners striving to develop more egalitarian and ecologically sound ways of living together. These field walking brainstorms are only the beginning. It’s time for change.
