Dear Farm Journal,
It’s back to bundling up against the ridge top gales as March goes out like a lion. My first challenge is to disentangle 3 gigantic sheets of shade cover which can be pulled over a greenhouse. After about 45 minutes of patient pulling, and 1 swift landing on my ass, I solved the puzzle of the shade covers, but not the enigma of why “someone” would store them in such a pile in the first place. Next, Rufus and I worked together to turn the compost. I drove the tractor with the spreader and Rufus filled it with the bobcat as we worked our way down the trench silo. We finished the day working on “cow land”, moving equipment and making way for our next adventure.
