In the fifth week of our fall CSA, I discern a slackening in the habitual tension tangled up in my sense of time. I’ve decidedly dropped my 5 AM alarm. With the cooler weather and no employees clocking in, there’s no rush to be ready by 8 o’clock. I take my time, deliberately, noting that it doesn’t tear me apart to walk out the door an hour later. The disciplinarian of the Capricorn sign can be a heavy handed master, but you can make deals with her from time to time.
