Dear Farm Journal,

I have always fancied rolling on a fresh coat of paint, brushing away the old, sealing in the past, and admiring the conversion. Today we finished the pack shed makeover with broad white brush strokes and tomato red lipstick. This little facelift has transformed the barn into a cleaner, brighter work space. That fresh paint smell fills the air. Our neck and shoulders are stiff from craning upward. I’m covered in paint from head to toe, but I’m satisfied with the renewal.
