The cucumbers are coming on hot and heavy now. John and Cassie harvested over 300 pounds this morning and there are a multitude of smaller cucs coming in that will be ready in a few days. This is the time of year when we really start doing double takes at the garden, turning over beds to the next crop, and asking how the plants keep getting ahead of us. The answer, of course, is elementary; sunshine, rain, and pure plant magic.
