The first annual Kickapoo Valley Forest School plant swap was a great success. I’m so honored to be a part of the Food Security Committee and a community who embraces the forest school. I chatted with so many folks who said, “I wish there was something like this when I was a kid” or “when my kids were in school”. This was my first event being out among the community since the pandemic, and it sure felt wonderful to connect again.
