As the season picks up, we’re happy to welcome some additional help to Keewaydin, and Kayln jumped right into our routine today. Growing our small farm family feels like just the boost we need to catch up on planting and side projects. At the end of the day, I had to walk around to all the gardens to jot down the records because I couldn’t quite remember the long list of crop transitions we’d accomplished since lunch (unheard of on a CSA pack out day). Needless to say, I’m feeling extremely grateful to connect with another aspiring farmer, cut from that same cloth of those who find joy in the soil and sunshine.
