With the Driftless Curiosity workshop successfully completed, Sunday called for river recreation with friends. I took in the first float of the year, noticing more plant species than ever before. When we stop to rest, we see ramps and spring beauties galore. I feel my eyes have taken on a new filter, scanning the ground for recognizable life and I absolutely love what I see.
