Dear Farm Journal,

I twisted my ankle in the hole in the back of the barn again. Why is there a hole directly where you step into the barn to retrieve a tool? And why can’t I remember this hole, as I have twisted my ankle in it probably a dozen times in the last year? Other ankles have suffered as well. And why has no one taken the time to fill in this hole? I guess it is because we always lack time on the farm. We run from one task to the next without properly completing anything, and at the end of the day, everyone has forgotten about the hole, except the person who forgot to step over it that day. And who wants to fill in a hole with a twisted ankle? I’ll try to remember to step over it next time.
