Mindfully Grown from Seed
Each mini braid (3 – 5 inches) is created from sweetgrass we grew from seed at Keewaydin Farms in Wisconsin’s Driftless Region, using certified organic practices. Every strand in the braid is a single blade of sweetgrass, carefully harvested and braided by hand.

Traditional Uses
Sweetgrass is traditionally burned to invite wanted energy and attract good spirits. When burned for healing or ritual purposes, the smoke from braided sweetgrass is thought to attract good spirits and positive energies. The smoke helps purify and protect bodies, spirits and living spaces, with an earthy vanilla-like scent that is both calming and uplifting. When burned, sweetgrass doesn’t produce a dangerous flame; braided sweetgrass simply smolders as you wave or gently fan the smoke.
