This weekend, we have the pleasure of hosting friends at the farm, which gives us the perfect reason to do all the Driftless activities we love: hiking and fishing on the reserve, paddling the Kickapoo, and dining at the Driftless Café. We love sharing and showing off these gems amongst the ridges and valleys of our landscape just as much as we love slowing down to appreciate them ourselves. Also, having kiddos on the farm always refreshes my sense of wonder and makes me think more about creating Driftless Curiosity programming for children next year. It was a real “staycation” of a Saturday, and our hearts are filled with the felicity of reconnecting.
